Physical space constraints hinder its expansion—and, for exhibitors, may even prevent it. The latest edition of Interplast (Plastics Technology Trade Fair and Congress) therefore focused on delivering on its slogan: after the largest edition, held in 2024 with record numbers of exhibitors and visitors, would come the event’s best edition.
“And we had the best exhibitors, who brought their best technologies to show visitors, while exhibitors met an audience very willing to do business,” reports Richard Spirandelli, director of Messe Brasil, the event organizer.
Held in late August in Joinville, Santa Catarina, the event featured around 400 exhibitors representing more than a thousand brands and welcomed approximately 35,000 visitors. Organizers project that it will generate approximately R$600 million in business over twelve months.
